It also has a backup field with a capacity of 3500 and 2 training fields. It was also one of the venues of the 1990 Asian Games and the 1992 Women's Softball World Cup Championships. The stadium's renovation was completed in July 28, 2006 ready for the XI Women's World Softball Championship in late August. It is the first Olympic venue to be completed and put to use.
