Old Bridge Township Raceway Park
, originally known as Madison Township Raceway Park
, is a quarter-mile dragstrip near Englishtown, New Jersey, just off of Route 18. It opened in 1965 and hosts the NHRA's Lucas Oil NHRA SuperNationals. It has a seating capacity of 85,000 spectators.

History
When Raceway Park opened in 1965, a local newspaper said its "isolated location, bordered by acres and acres of untouched woodland makes it ideal for the noise-making business of the science of speed". [1]
Accident
On June 21, 2008, the death of NHRA driver Scott Kalitta occurred at Raceway Park during the qualifying races of the NHRA SuperNationals. [2]
