PalaLottomatica
, formerly known as PalaEUR
, is a multipurpose sports arena in Rome, Italy. It is located in the heart of the famous large complex of EUR. It has a seating capacity of 11,200 spectators. The stadium features 8 meetings points, a restaurant for 300 people and a 2,700 square meter (3,229 sq. yard) outdoor terrace.

History
PalaLottomatica was designed by architects
Pier Luigi Nervi and
Marcello Piacentini in
1956, and finished in
1960 for the
Summer Olympics. In
1999 it was restructured by the Italian architect
Massimiliano Fuksas, and was renamed after the main sponsor
Lottomatica.
It is currently the home arena of the Italian professional
basketball team
Lottomatica Roma. The arena has also hosted the
1960 Olympic basetball tournament, the
1991 European basketball championships [1] and the
Euroleague 1997
Final Four.
