Riverwind Casino
is the largest casino in Oklahoma, at . [1] It is located in Goldsby at the Interstate 35/State Highway 9 west junction. It is owned and operated by the Chickasaw Nation.
Riverwind houses 2,295 slot machines and over 50 blackjack and poker tables. It also has an off-track betting area.
The casino contains two restaurants, Willows Buffet (Oklahoma's largest buffet [2] [3]) and Autographs Sports Bar, formerly known as Traditions. Autographs is owned by the three living Oklahoma Heisman Trophy winners, Billy Simms, Steve Owens, and Jason White. Autographs has a personal TV at each booth in the restaurant. There is also a food court with a Cinnabon, Burger King, Taco Bueno, and Rick's Café (formerly Pizza, Subs and Wings), which serves Starbucks Coffee. In addition, the 77-seat
The property employs 1,300 full and part-time staff members from the surrounding metro area, and all jobs include full medical coverage as well as opportunities for advancement.
Riverwind Casino was built in partnership with Multimedia Games. The building was designed by The Hnedak Bobo Group of Las Vegas and Memphis.
The Chickasaw Nation Division of Commerce has also developed non-gaming projects that have had a significant impact. Chickasaw Nation Division of Commerce and Multimedia Games built a $1.7 million sewage treatment plant for Goldsby and a $2.1 million water tower for Newcastle.
On December 1, 2006, the casino hosted Mel Gibson for a prescreening of his movie Apocalypto
