It annually hosts the rodeo, the chuckwagon races and the evening Grandstand Show portions of the Calgary Stampede. Additionally, from March through June annually, the Grandstand hosts live thoroughbred racing on its half-mile dirt track. Off-track betting is run year-round in the same clubhouse facilities.
