Comedic style and persona
Vos is known for having incredibly low self-esteem when it comes to his radio show appearances. He commonly uses the phrase "I stink" and "here's the thing" (pronounced "here's da ting") as a lead in to jokes about himself. Often lacking confidence in any of his off the cuff remarks, his off script banter can easily be identified by the transitional "Ahhhh" or "Uhhhh" that follows. In his stand-up he frequently mispronounces words or uses the wrong word altogether when trying to describe something, which, combined with his lateral lisp, lends an air of buffoonery to his performances. Vos is also known for being one of the most fan-friendly comedians today. Vos can be seen interacting with fans before, during and after shows. He is always willing to sign autographs, take pictures and peddle his DVD.
Vos' frequent use of the wrong words has been referred to as a "Paux Fas."
