History
The band was first called
Stars and Scars
but had changed their name by the time they came to play both the main Bamboozle and Bamboozle Left in 2008
[1] and played on the 2008 Vans Warped Tour. "
Paramore is the female-fronted draw of the day here at Bamboozle Left, but Automatic Loveletter's Juliet Simms more than held her own on the Nokia Ticket Rush stage. Clad in an obligatory black hoodie and strumming an acoustic guitar, she wailed her way through a frenetic half-hour set split by a solo acoustic ballad. Get this band on a main stage and she’ll be receiving automatic love letters by the truckload." LA Times
[2]
Simms has lent guest vocals on several songs for better known bands. Simms' voice can be heard on records from
LoveHateHero's "Theatre of Robots",
Secondhand Serenade's "Fix You",
All Time Low's "Remembering Sunday", and most recently
Cartel's "Lose It".

Recently Epic Records had a head of label change resulting in Automatic Loveletter not being with them anymore. As of July 7, 2009 the current situation is they were signed with RCA (date unknown currently) and have half their album completed.
