Bling Kong is an indie rock band from New York City consisting of eleven members: three drummers, two guitarists, one Bass guitar player, one videographer, and four cheerleaders. The band is known for their sexual, but rock-driven, music with humorous lyrics. Its music has been compared to Peaches, The Go-Go's, The B-52's and Judas Priest. The band is also launching its own clothing line as well. In the fall of 2005, the band toured to promote its second album, Do The Awesome , on the Redder Records label.
