Deb Callahan
is the president of North Star Strategy, a consulting firm based in Washington, DC that provides services in the areas of policy, politics and philanthropy. She is the immediate past president of the League of Conservation Voters (LCV) and served in that position for ten years from January 1996 until her resignation on January 4, 2006. Callahan is married to Ken Cook, president of the Environmental Working Group. She graduated in 1981 from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
