E for Explosion is an alternative rock/shoegazing band formed by former JamisonParker singer Jamison Covington after the group's breakup in 2005.

History

The band formed upon the split of JamisonParker and was originally called Covington. The band signed to Eyeball Records and released their debut album Reinventing the Heartbeat on May 20, 2008. ^[1]. The album was produced by Dave Trumfio ^[2].

On November 2, 2008, Covington announced via the band's Myspace page that he had nearly completed writing and recording an album's worth of demos.
