Pop Evil is an American post-grunge band from Grand Rapids, Michigan. It was formed in 2001 by Leigh Kakaty, Dave Grahs, Jamie Nummer, and Dylan Allison. Lead Guitarist Shane Allison was originally added as a temporary/studio guitarist for the band, but then was invited to become a full-time member in early 2007. Around that time, Bassist Jamie Nummer quit the band for personal reasons, and was replaced by Matt DiRito. They are currently on tour as the opening band for the American leg of Judas Priest's "British Steel 30th Anniversary" tour. Other bands they've toured with include Tesla, Puddle of Mudd, Theory of a Deadman, Framing Hanley, and Whitesnake, among others.
