Radio Lab Wiki Information
Radiolab
is a radio program broadcast on public radio stations in the United States. Hosted by Jad Abumrad and Robert Krulwich, each hour-long show focuses on a topic of a scientific and philosophical nature, through stories, interviews, and thought experiments. The show attempts to approach broad, difficult topics such as "time" and "morality" in an accessible and light-hearted manner. Its audio production style is distinctive, often using rapid edits to construct an expository conversation. The credits are generally read by people who were interviewed or featured on the show, rather than by the hosts.
Radiolab
is produced by WNYC, a public radio station in New York City. The show is nationally syndicated, and is also available as a podcast. Beginning June 15, 2009, the podcast feed offers full episodes on a regular schedule. Between each episode, podcast listeners "get two podcasts that follow some detour or left turn, explore music we love, take you to live events, and generally try to shake up your universe."
Five seasons of five episodes have been produced; the fifth season aired in November and December 2008. [1]
