Raw Footage
is the eighth studio album by rapper Ice Cube, released on August 19, 2008. [1] [2] The first single, "Gangsta Rap Made Me Do It", has been released with a music video appearing on his MySpace page on January 3, 2008. [3] It has also been released via the iTunes Store on February 12, 2008. The second single is "Do Ya Thang"; Ice Cube has already shot and released the video for this song. The third single is "Why Me". Guests on the album included The Game, Butch Cassidy, Musiq Soulchild, Young Jeezy and WC. The album is his most political effort since, The Predator
released over a decade earlier.

Singles
The first single released from the album, "Gangsta Rap Made Me Do It", was released January 3, 2008. The single became available on iTunes on February 12, 2008. The single was available for 99 cents and came free with the music video. The music video contained cameos by WC and DJ Crazy Toones.
The second single was Do Ya Thang. A music video was released. The single was released on June 24, 2008 at the iTunes store.
The song "It Takes A Nation" was released onto the iTunes Store on May 27, 2008. It was never officially released as a single.
The video for the song " Why Me?". [4] was released on BET on September 24, 2008.
The Sixth Single off Raw Footage will be "Get Use To It". [5]
Reception
The album debuted at No. 1 on both the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and Top Rap Albums Chart and at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 album chart. It has received favorable reviews from critics. The album has sold Over 300,000 copies in the U.S., and 500,000 copies worldwide.
