The Rock en Seine
festival is a two or three-day festival, held at the Saint-Cloud's park ( Domaine National de Saint-Cloud) just outside Paris, inside the garden design by Le Nôtre. It is the festival at which Oasis split up on the 28th August 2009 after Liam and Noel Gallagher had a fight just before they were due to headline the main stage.

Previous years
- 2003 : First year of Rock en Seine, 2 stages, 10 bands. It was a very warm year for the festival this year. It only took place over the one day, August 27.
- 2004 : For the second year, Rock en Seine This year it became a two day festival, which meant more bands and better weather than 2003.
- 2005 : Third year, three stages and a campsite inside the festival, 46 000 spectators.
- 2006 : Fourth year, larger campsite, one more mini scene, many side events, 57 000 spectators.
- 2007 : Fifth year, extension to three days, even more bands.
- 2008 : 80 000 spectators in three days.
- 2009 : 90 000 spectators in three days.
The Venue
The festival takes place in the down of the Park of "Domaine national de Saint-Cloud", it's a magic and historic place at the gates of Paris, and 5 minutes from the nearest subway station métro Boulogne - Pont de Saint-Cloud.
The park and the garden, was design by Le Nôtre in the 17th century, and it's the first park to be classed as a Monument historique in 1994. It is a 4.6 km² park, and there are gardens and forest with basins, thickets, cascades and statues.
