Rocklahoma Wiki Information
Rocklahoma
(also known as Rock Fever Presents Rocklahoma
or Rock Fever
) is an annual 1980s-era hard rock music festival held in Pryor, Oklahoma. There were an estimated 100,000 people (about 30,000 per day) at the first annual Rocklahoma held in 2007. [1] A Rocklahoma 2007 Coffee Table book has been published documenting the four day festival and a Rocklahoma 2008 Coffee table book has just been released as of June 5th, 2009 and is available through the www.rocklahomabook.com site. [2]
The Third Annual Rocklahoma will have over seventy bands on four stages, including favorites from previous Rocklahoma festivals, Beautiful Creatures, LA Guns featuring Tracii Gun, Bang Tango, Lillian Axe, Gypsy Pistoleros and Faster Pussycat. Included on the side stages are bands from all over Europe.
Both Playboy and Rolling Stone in 2008 called Rocklahoma one of the top festivals that should not be missed.
