The Tossers Wiki Information
The Tossers
are a Six-piece Celtic punk band from Chicago. They formed in the early '90s and have a large cult following but have recently started to move into the spotlight. They have toured with Lost City Angels, Murphy's Law, Streetlight Manifesto, Catch 22, Dropkick Murphys, The Reverend Horton Heat, Flogging Molly and most recently Krum Bums and Street Dogs. They opened for The Pogues in New York City on St. Patrick's Day, 2007.
The band pre-dates more well-known Celtic Punk bands such as the aforementioned Dropkick Murphys and Flogging Molly, who formed in 1996 and 1997 respectively. Their brand new full length, entitled On A Fine Spring Evening, was released on October 28, 2008.
