Daniel Michael Andriano
(born June 27 1977 in Elgin, Illinois) is the bassist and co-vocalist (alongside vocalist/guitarist Matt Skiba and drummer Derek Grant) for the Chicago punk band Alkaline Trio. Formerly the bassist for the ska-punk band Slapstick and singer/bassist for Tuesday, Andriano joined the band after original bassist Rob Doran left in late 1997. For Your Lungs Only
, a four-song E.P., was the first release to feature Andriano on bass. Andriano would begin writing songs with the Alkaline Trio beginning with the band's first L.P., Goddamnit

Andriano was also the bassist and vocalist for the punk band Tuesday, formed of three out of seven ex-members of Slapstick (each band releasing one album each). He has also released a split EP with former Alkaline Trio drummer Mike Felumlee.
Recently (2004), Dan Andriano played bass on 'God Don't Make No Trash / Up Your Ass With Broken Glass' by The Falcon. Along with Dan, The Falcon is made up of members of The Lawrence Arms. The Falcon released their debut full-length 'Unicornography' on September 26th 2006.
He also plays bass on Ben Weasel's album These Ones Are Bitter.
Dan recently welcomed his first child, a daughter named Sophie Moon Andriano, into the world.
Dan Andriano was originally from Elgin, Illinois. He is a graduate of St. Edwards High School, a Catholic high school in Elgin.
He can be heard singing as the backing vocalist, along with Matt Skiba, on the New Found Glory song "Forget My Name".
