Jackson Taylor
(full name: Jackson Theodore Routley McDowell Taylor,
born 5 March, 1987 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada) is an actor from New
Zealand and as of 2009 is living and acting in Hollywood, California.
Jackson is also a trained singer in jazz, opera, classical and Broadway
and trained with the Queen's Honorary Music Coach 'Maureen Potter'
Jackson Grew Up in Taupo, New Zealand and considers that his hometown
even tho he trained in Wellington and Auckland.
All of Jackson's Life Throughout College in New Zealand was in the
Performing Arts Areana, Performing in over 25 Productions throughout
his 5 Years at College (High School). He was also a Singer and for a
Few Years was a Keen Dancer, but put Dancing aside when In 2004 Jackson
enrolled at the New Zealand College Of Performing Arts in Wellington
and trained there for 2 years, graduating with a Diploma in Stage and
Screen Arts. He then moved to Auckland in 2007 and studied music for
six months at UNITEC Institute of Technology, in the Music Department
to improve his singing abilities and to perform in several Auckland
productions.
At the end of 2007 he decided to return to Wellington and complete
third year at The New Zealand College of Performing Arts and graduated
with a Advanced Diploma in Stage and Screen Arts which is at Degree
Level.
Jackson had his first TV debut on the TV series Sensing Murder in 2007
and 2008 in New Zealand and had a thing for Competing, Acting in two
Film Festivals as the Lead Actor In the Short Film 'Under Control'
which screened all around New Zealand, and The Short Film
Thriller/Drama 'Face Value'
He then Packed up and moved to Los Angeles, Started Training Straight
away at The Hollywood Film Acting Academy and as of March 2009 is
starting to Train With 'A Lister Acting Coach Aaron Speiser. Jackson
made his American TV Debut appearing on Cable Tru TV Show 'Operation
Repo' and had a worked and acted on the film Raven starring Roland
Kickinger and Steven Bauer.
