However, the team would fall off in the mid-1990's before the turn of the century.

Since the turn of the millennium, the Twins have been the premier team in the newly formed AL Central Division. They have won 5 division titles since 2000, but have yet to win a World Series title. Though they have been close, drafting great players like Joe Mauer and Justin Morneau have solidified this teams lineup and has made them a force to be reckoned with.
