Amateur Career
Bradley had extensive amateur experience before turning pro, having competed in over 145 bouts and losing only 20.

Pro Career
Bradley had his first professional bout on the 20th of August 2004, knocking out Francisco Martinez in the second round. He remained undefeated throughout his career winning all of his fights, all of them being in the USA.
Fight vs. Witter
At 21 fights undefeated, he was given a chance to fight
Junior Witter for the
WBC World
Light Welterweight Championship in Witter's hometown in the
United Kingdom. It was Bradley's first time fighting out of the
USA and he entered the bout as a heavy underdog.
It was a slow pace to start the bout, with Witter beginning in the southpaw stance before flipping to conventional midway through the round. Things picked up in the sixth round. Bradley was able to impose his will for the first time in the bout, landing a left hook to the body and head, about a minute into the round. It would get a lot worse for Witter. An overhand right sent Witter crashing to the canvas. He bounced up immediately, but was forced to clinch his way out of the round. Bradley thoroughly outworked Witter over much of the remainder of the fight to pull out a split decision victory.
Unification vs Holt
On 4 April 2009, Bradley fought
Kendall Holt to unify his WBC and Holt's
WBO titles. Bradley was dropped in the first round by a huge left hook but regrouped and outboxed Holt for most of the fight, before being sent to the canvas again in the 12th round. Nonetheless, Bradley got up and finished the fight. He won by unanimous decision and became the WBO champion.

Post-Unification
Several days after his unification bout with Holt, Bradley was stripped of his WBC light welterweight title. This was because he failed to take on
Devon Alexander, his mandatory challenger, on time.
[3] As a result, the title became vacant and Alexander stopped Witter at the end of eight rounds to win the belt.
The Alexander-Witter fight was on the undercard of Bradley's August 1st fight with
Nate Campbell in Bradley's hometown of Palm Springs. Campbell,a former lightweight champion, was coming up in weight after he failed to make the lightweight limit in his last fight. Bradley's fight with Campbell only lasted three rounds after Campbell chose not to continue when a cut formed over and behind his left eye. Bradley was award the TKO victory.
[4] However, a replay showed that the cut was caused by an accidental clash of heads, and should thus be ruled a no decision. Campbell is taking his case to the
California State Athletic Commission.
